Hi there,

Thank you for signing up for the CHAAD newsletter. We’re really glad you’re here.🍑

CHAAD exists because hospitality workers deserve more; more safety, more dignity, more joy, and more power in the spaces we help create every day. This newsletter is one way we stay connected outside of work.

We know many of us found each other through Instagram, and while we’re grateful for the connections built there, we also believe our community deserves spaces that aren’t controlled by algorithms, shadow bans, or corporate priorities.

This newsletter is part of building a path to a space we own. A space to organize, share resources, and grow that isn’t dependent on a platform owned by a billionaire.

Here’s what you can expect from us:

• Updates on trainings, workshops, and events

• Resources for workplace harm

• Stories and reflections from hospitality workers

• Opportunities to take action and build collective power

We are funded by people, not corporations. That means everything we build is rooted in community care and accountability. Your presence here matters.

Thank you for choosing to be part of this community. We’re building something sustainable together.

If you ever have feedback, ideas, or stories you want to share, just reply to this email. We read them.

In solidarity and care,

The CHAAD Team
